HACKAIST is an annual event host by the Industrial Design Department at KAIST in collaboration with an external institution or organization.

2022 HACKAIST (with Imperial College London) focuses on exploring opportunities around the three themes — Space; Embodied Intelligence; Synaesthesia. Hackathon participants will create radical solutions in relation to the challenges posed by three subject experts. The hackathon will be a fully hands-on event, and participants should prepare with a computer to work with. The event will kick off with three talks to introduce challenges around the three themes.
